Important Dates
Grants/Reimbursement:
- Deadline November 30, 2025: Wellness Grant: APPLY NOW for a Halifax City Local Wellness Grant Apply here 8 dollars per member at your site. One application per school. (Halifax City Local Funds)
- Deadline: November 27th, 2025: Disrupting Anti-Black Racism Grant (Halifax City Local funds)
- Deadline Novemeber 14, 2025: Article 60 Conference Reimbursement-NSTU members must submit their receipt and apply for reminbursement by November 14th. Late applications will not be considered. Applications can be found on HRCE's Sharepoint.
- Deadline October 29th, 2025 Conference, In-service and Course Pre-approval deadline HRCE Article 60 (start date must be at least 10 calendar days after the committee meeting day. For in-servcie must take place at least 30 calendar days after committee meeting day. Committee meets November 5, 2025) See guidelines for priorities (page 16) Article 60 guidelines
- Deadline: October 30, 2025 at 4 p.m. Professional Development Fall grant (Halifax City Local funds)
- Deadline: October 31st, 2025 at 4 p.m. Article 60 Course Reimbursement (For courses July 1-Sept.30)
